About
Finding underwear that works is tricky for FTM guys. I wasted a lot of money on underwear that didn’t work when I was packing pre-phalloplasty, and now that I’m post-phalloplasty, finding underwear that fits is a challenge once again! This blog is meant to share what I’ve learned about the kinds of underwear that did and didn’t work for me when I was packing, and to review the underwear I try post-phalloplasty. There’s a lot of information out there about men’s underwear, but not a whole lot of information about men’s underwear for transmen. A lot of the post-phalloplasty reviews may be of use to well-endowed cis-men as well, but I write them first and foremost for my FTM brothers.

Because so much is based on personal preference, I try to put together detailed reviews of why I did/didn’t like a particular pair - you can judge for yourself whether the pros/cons I identify apply to your preferences. For the packing reviews, the posts are structured in a mostly pro/con format. I focus primarily on how well each pair holds a packer, but discuss other aspects of the fit/appearance/comfort. For post-phalloplasty reviews, the structure is a bit different. I grade underwear on a list of attributes, including fabric, pouch design, waistband, and cost.

Finally, some measurements to help you learn the most from my reviews:
Pre-phalloplasty, I was packing with the “classic packy” in a small
Post-phalloplasty, my penis is about 5.5" soft
My pant size runs anywhere from 30 to 33, but I wear a 32 in most brands. My build is relatively lean and lanky.

If any transguys reading this blog have some advice on underwear, please share it! I can only try so many pairs of underwear myself…
